Buy That Boy a Basketball!
Today was Matthew's 6 month checkup. No surprises -- he is doing great!
Matthew is now 19.1 pounds (76th percentile) and 29" (98th percentile). Actually the percentiles don't go any higher than 98th. If you look at the growth charts, 29" is above even the highest line for a 6 month old.
Of course this means that our 6th month old "baby" is now totally in size 12 month clothes, and fast growing out of those! At this point, we just buying 18 months. No point in him growing out of everything in another month. Time to bring down from the attic another box of Michael's old clothes!
I guess it shouldn't be a surprise that Matthew is so tall. Pop Pop (my dad) is 6'3". Big brother Michael has consistently been around the 80th percentile in height all along. It's not like Greg and I are short either.
So we are thankful that the previous owners of this house left behind one of those big basketball hoops!
