Is It Physically Possible to Pull Ones Hair Out?
I couldn't decide which title to use:
Is It Physically Possible to Pull Ones Hair Out?
or
Is It Physically Possible for a 3-year-old to Have Stage Fright?
This has been quite a morning. Matthew (the 7 month old) is in a cranky mood. So he's been requiring extra attention today. Michael (the almost 3-year-old) seems to have potty-training stage-fright or something.
I wrote yesterday about all the running to the potty at the restaurant. Well, it continues today. The constant "Go! Go! Go!" while running to the bathroom, only to get him up on the potty and have him say, "All done". UGH.
But the biggest problem is that after about 3-4 of these false-calls, he runs to the bathroom with such urgency that the pee winds up all over the floor. I have cleaned the bathroom floor five times today already.
So while we are running to the potty about every 5 minutes (and cleaning up the pee), Matthew is crying his little heart out. He's been fed. He's been changed. He's had a nap. There's nothing more I can do. So the little guy has to cry for a minute while I make sure Michael at least makes it off the carpet an on to the tile floor of the bathroom!
In between trips, I'm trying to entertain Matthew as much as I can, but he just doesn't get why Mommy has to suddenly put him down and run away.
And so this is how my day is going. And I can't help but wonder if it is physically possible to pull ones own hair out!

Ugh. I feel your pain. Toddler woke up and wouldn't go back to sleep til 5 a.m. I got three hours of sleep. I am crying at the act of being awake. Hang in there. I know how frustrating it all is...
Am too tired to ponder the possibility of pulling hair out. Interesting question though..
