Success!

I found the perfect backpack! And of course I found it online

Michael is fascinated by the moon. As an extension, he is fascinated by space. He has a somewhat space-themed bedroom, his birthday invitations will have a space-theme, and we love taking him to the Air & Space Museum when we are back in DC.

So I found an astronaut backpack! It's all covered with rockets, plants, and astronauts, and it is specially sized for a preschooler. Sounds perfect!

Sure, it was more than that $4.99 cheepo at WalMart, but it was still reasonable. And because it has space stuff all over it, he will be excited to use it.

It's a better potty-training day today too. So far no accidents! And he is proudly displaying his Moon Mom Mom sticker. (I told you that the moon was big around here!)

As an aside, thankfully I did not find out if it is physically possible to pull out ones own hair. I did however find out what it feels like to seriously smack my head on a doorknob! No, it was not on purpose! But it just went along with the kind of day I was having yesterday! And thanks to an energy boost from a frozen Mandarin Mocha from Carolina Coffee Roasters, I had a great time at my Assimilation Team meeting last night!
