Silly Playrooms
Michael can be such a trip sometimes. He has decided that what we call the playroom is "Michael's playroom". What we call the family room is "Matthew's playroom".
So one day I asked him, "Where is Mommy's playroom?" He thought a little and looked around. Then he pointed to the living room and said, "There's Mommy's playroom!"
A few days later, I took it a step further. I asked him, "Where is Daddy's playroom?" Again he thought a little and looked around. Not immediately seeing another room, he said, "Daddy no playroom." Poor Daddy. All he does is work. He needs a playroom too!
I kept asking him about Daddy's playroom. Finally he remembered the other room on the main level! The dining room! That was Daddy's playroom! (Sometimes he now alternates between the dining room and the garage.)
I couldn't stop there. The other day, I asked Michael, "Where is Mom Mom's playroom?" This was a tough one! Certainly all the rooms on the main floor were assigned now! (Even the dog had been assigned the outside playroom!) Michael was walking around, looking for "Mom Mom's playroom". Then the lightbulb went off! There was another room on the main level! He said, "There Mom Mom's playroom!" He was pointing to the bathroom. Lucky Mom Mom.
