Christmas in Review
We had a lovely Christmas! The boys had obviously been very good boys this year! They had such a blast opening all their presents! Of course Michael thinks that all of the stuff he got are "Michael toys" and that all of the ones that Matthew got are "Michael-Matthew toys"!But Santa brought them a mini-trampoline (so that they can jump on that instead of the beds and the sofa, which are big no-no's!), and they are doing a great job sharing it. Even Matthew can jump up and down on it!
Turned out just right too. When I had asked Michael what kind of presents he wanted Santa to bring, he had two answers. The first was "red and blue presents". Thankfully Santa listed and the trampoline was red and blue! The second thing Michael said he wanted Santa to bring was, "Mom Mom and Pop Pop". Unfortunately Santa couldn't pull through on that one though, but hopefully they will be here again very soon!
It was also nice talking with all the family yesterday. We may be all spread out now, but holidays are the one time when you always make sure you catch up on the phone with the ones you love! It's always nice getting those phone calls!
So now we are back to regular life. Christmas is over. We are really big on "Christmas" being "Christmas Eve and Christmas Day", and then we move on to other things. For Epiphany we will be participating in the cookie-bake at our church! Families get together to make and decorate cookies, and then deliver them to homebound members of the congregation. Last year was so much fun, and we are looking forward to it again.
I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas! I'd love to hear all about your celebrations! Oh, and as always, there are lots of pictures up on our website.
