I Guess It's Been a Good Week!
I guess since this week was my birthday, somebody upstairs decided to let a whole bunch of good things happen this week....
My parents made their flight reservations for their upcoming visit. When I told Michael, he jumped up and down and said, "YEAH!" He's been talking about it ever since.
We're also getting ready for my cousin and her daughter to come and visit us for a few days. Michael has decided that the daughter should stay here and go to school with him next year. Cute! It's so nice having "Chez Leiby" get so many regular visitors!
I was asked to be a regular contributor to another blog. The think that I am a very good writer with good insight. Big compliment! I am still considering the offer.
I was asked to consider joining the Junior League of Greenville! Wow! When we moved here, my mom warned me that we'd never be fully embraced by the locals, and we'd always be considered "northerners". (Mom spent 4 years going to school in the south in the 50's, so she's been exposed to a lot of southerners.) Well, mom was wrong! I will go to my first provisional meeting next month!
Michael got the preschool placement for next year that we were really hoping for! And we already know that several of his little buddies will be in his class.
And as always, I have the best little boys in the world! That always makes it a good week!

Happy Belated Birthday! You deserve a good week and you ARE a good writer (was there any doubt???). Happy Birthday -- great photo on previous post and loved the hand prints!!!!
