Happy [Late] Valentine's Day
There was a whole lot of waiting going on in our house yesterday.
Michael went to his Valentine Party at school and had a blast. His favorite part were the "brownies and apple juice". He loved all the "little letters" he got, and wanted us to hang them all up when we got home.
Then the waiting began. All afternoon I was left hitting refresh on my web-browser. More disappointment, and more waiting.
See, up north there was a big winter storm. Lots of things were closed. Including the airports.
But finally at 9:00 pm, Mom Mom and Pop Pop came down the escalator and in to the arms of a waiting and excited (and up way past his bedtime) Michael! Their flight was 3 hours late, but at least they were here.
So by the end of the day, the boys got their best Valentines of all.
