Update on Chuck E Cheese

Last month I wrote about a bad trip to Chuck E Cheese. They had some new policies in place that just seemed rediculous. The place was a zoo, and we were tempted not to return.

But when Michael found out that Mom Mom and Pop Pop were coming, he started saying, "Go to Chuck E Cheese with Mom Mom and Pop Pop!" I told him he needed to ask them if they wanted to go, which he did, and they said yes.

So Monday afternoon we all piled in the minivan and went back to Chuck E Cheese.

Let me say, it was a totally different experience than the last time! Perhaps it was because it was not the weekend (although it was on a holiday). Perhaps they have new management. Perhaps they read my blog and realized how stupid their new policies were. (Haha!)

We were able to walk right in and pick any table in the place. It was not a zoo. The food was decent -- I mean it's Chuck E Cheese -- you don't go there for the gourmet pizza! They employees were friendly and they were prompt.

So we all had a blast.

Michael has a couple certain games he likes to play. Not video games, but the kids games like scooping flying bees in to the hive. He also likes the ride-ons. And of course the climbing structure. That is his favorite.

Matthew was much more in to things this time too. He likes the toddler climbing structure, and was excited to have a safe place where he could climb up and down. He also enjoyed the ride-ons. And for the first time, he was interested in some of the kiddie games. Especially that one with the flying bees.

After this experience, Chuck E Cheese is back to getting two thumbs up. We had a great time, and even Mom Mom and Pop Pop enjoyed it!
And Michael even got his picture taken with Chuck himself!
