Visit to Paris Mountain

Saturday was such a beautiful day, and we decided to spend some time in the great outdoors. We all hopped in the minivan and headed just north of Greenville to Paris Mountain State Park. It is an amazing getaway, yet still so close to town.

We took a short hike along the 1.2 mile lakeside trail. 3 1/2 year old Michael obviously walked the whole thing on his own.

14 month old Matthew walked about 3/4 of the way on his own two feet!

But he also took a little ride on Mommy's shoulders!

We even discovered a lizard along the way!
Definitely head to Paris Mountain if you haven't been there!

Looks nice maybe we will check it out sometime. That lizard looks huge in the picture...we have lots of little ones in our yard when it is warm out. Something for me to get used to.

Both of our boys have been there on school trips but my hubby and I have never been. We really need to go, huh? Looks fun.
