A Great Visit!

We got a call over the weekend that my cousin Carole was heading through town, and wanted to stop by for a visit. Yeah! We haven't seen Carole in about 3 years, but we've done our best to keep up through email and blogs. (Especially her great blog about her cross-country trip last year!)

The boys got such a kick out of having her here. It is so obvious how much she loves the little ones, and they totally responded. I just love this picture with Matthew.


Even Conny the dog had a special visit. Carole brought along her little pup Missy. The pooches did very well together. And the boys loved having twice the doggie kisses as usual. Michael also liked playing with the "leash machine" -- the retractable leash. He thought that was the neatest! But even cooler was having two dogs here. Michael kept saying, "Two doggies in the house! Two doggies in the house!"

So this morning Carole headed out in her cool purple camper to her next destination. When Michael came home from school today and she was gone, he said, "Miss Carole come back TOMORROW!" Well maybe not tomorrow, but hopefully SOON!
