Matthew is 18 Months Old! (6/14/07)

Can you believe it? Our "little" guy is already a-year-and-a-half! He is 35" tall (still off the charts, and the height of an average 26 month old) and 26.5 pounds. And still wearing 2T clothes. In fact we accidentally put him in one of Michael's 4T shirts recently, and it fit!

As always, here is his picture with Monkey. He's showing everyone how much he loves his Crocs!

Let's see, what's happened in his life in the past month...

Matthew finished his first year of Mother's Morning Out. He's also started summer preschool. (The boys are going two mornings a week, for four different weeks this summer.) He is just having a blast!

The pool opened, and despite a little initial hesitancy, he is now all over the water! He stretches out his body while on his tummy, while we "swim" him around. And he does not hesitate to jump off the side in to our arms.

Matthew's also had his first injuries. A split chin from falling off of a kitchen chair resulted in a trip to the ER where they glued it back together. And then a fall at the pool where he put his teeth in to his bottom lip. We figure this is just the beginning since he is such an active boy!

Oh! And Matthew had his first trip to the beach! More on that coming soon!
