Michael has a cute new saying. He keeps saying he is going to "grow up big and tall like Pop Pop!" Sometimes he will alter it and say he is going to "grow up big and tall like Pop Pop and sweet like Mom Mom!" Awww!

Matthew

Matthew is even more attached to his Crocs than ever before! He wanted to wear them to bed last night. And first thing this morning, he wanted them back on again. Both boys are totally living in those shoes this summer! What will we do come fall?

South Carolina Firefighters

Yesterday nine firefighters in Charleston, South Carolina lost their lives in a warehouse blaze. Terrible. Thoughts and prayers go out to their families. These men are examples of true heroes.

The state Treasurer was indicted yesterday on cocaine charges stemming from an incident in 2005. Sure would have like to have known about this before the last election! He's been suspended from his duties and an interim Treasurer will be appointed. What a lousy example for our children!
