Trip to EdVenture
Saturday we drove down to Columbia to visit the EdVenture Children's Museum. The boys had a blast, especially in the pretend grocery store. They actually visited it twice, and didn't want to leave! Below are a few pictures of their shopping experience.

In the center of the museum is "Eddie", a 40-foot tall boy full of things to climb in and through, all while learning about the human body. The boys loved climbing through Eddie, but I think are a little young for the human anatomy lesson it was trying to teach. That's okay though! Here is a picture of Michael with Eddie.
On the way home we stopped at the new Silver Bay Seafood in Simpsonville. It seems Michael has a new favorite restaurant! Each dining room has a large fish tank. In our room, it was about a 20-foot tank with sharks and stingray! And we were lucky enough to get a table right next to the tank! That's Michael's constant dinner recommendation now!
The whole day was a fun way to beat the [much needed] rain.

Whenever we went to any children's museum, both our daughters loved the "grocery store" mock up better than anything else. Forget the South American village, the television station, the science station with the bubble maker. It was all about...the grocery store.
There's a lesson in there somewhere!
