Kids Say The Cutest Things

Yesterday Michael had his 4 year checkup. For the first time, he had to pee in a cup. Obviously Mommy had to help with that. He thought it was pretty funny to pee in a cup.

When he was all done, and I set the cup up on the toilet tank, Michael said, "I made apple juice!"

Um, no.

And in more humor....

Michael has been very reluctant to give up his pacifier. He only has it at night now, but at 4 years old, enough is enough. So we told him that today the pacifier was going bye bye.

Michael has always been fascinated with Pop Pop. He always says he wants to grow up big and tall like Pop Pop. Wherever we go, he talks about if Pop Pop's head would reach to the ceiling, or if Pop Pop would have to duck to go through the door. He just loves his Pop Pop.

I guess one time, given his fascination with Pop Pop, it was mentioned that Pop Pop does not have a pacifier. Ya know, any prompting that might help!

So when we told Michael that his pacifier was going bye bye on Friday, he said, "I don't want to grow up like Pop Pop!" Then he got up from the table and ran away crying.

I think it's going to be a long night tonight!
