Oh Poo!
Today was Super Saturday with the Junior League -- the big kickoff day of the provisional year. It was a fun day of learning more about the League and getting involved in lots of fun community activities.
But lest I get a big head, I arrived home this afternoon wondering what the smell was in our front yard. Certainly it wasn't from my dog. She doesn't go on the front lawn.
After looking around a little bit, I noticed the cap off the sewer line, and a whole big puddle of yuck. Oh poo! We had a clogged sewer line. In other words, if you flushed a toilet or let water go down a sink drain, it had nowhere to go but out of the sewer line and in to our front flower bed.
You can imagine the nasty mess.
I had the sewer company come out to check the line. Of course the main line was clear, which meant it was all on us.
Thankfully Greg quickly got a plumbing referral from a colleague, and with a little name-dropping, the clog was gone within about an hour. I think that is pretty amazing time, especially given it was a Saturday evening!

Yes, grateful for a house with no basement for it to seep in to! Next year we will have the nicest roses on the block!
