DVD Collection
Have you seen enough of Barney? Mary Kate & Ashley? Pirates of the Caribbean? Still have that Blockbuster gift card from last Christmas and don't know what to do with it?
The Greenville County Foster Parent Association and the Greenville County Department of Social Services are looking for donations of new and used children’s DVDs, rated G, PG, or PG13. They are trying to set up a friendly area for children who are awaiting placements. (Right now, they wait in someones office!)
If enough DVDs are collected, children may have the opportunity to take a movie along with them when they are placed in a foster home.
They are also seeking a 19" TV/DVD combo.
I've been asked to head up this collection. If you have any new or gently used DVDs you would like to donate, please email me or leave a message in the comments section.
