Random Stuff

Michael is certainly learning the art of impressing a woman. While Mom Mom and Pop Pop were here visiting, he would say, "Mom Mom keeps getting prettier and prettier."

Unfortunately he has not learned to impress the men as well, since the above comment was always followed with, "And Pop Pop keeps getting balder and balder!"

Yesterday I bought gas at BJs for $2.32 a gallon. Within a week it had gone from $2.44 to $2.36 to $2.32. How exciting!

But when I drove by today, the price was up to $2.54 a gallon! A 22 cent increase in one day! Yikes!

Michael loves to play with his Fisher Price Little People Noah's Ark. Not only does the set come with lots of animals, it comes with two people. One of course is Noah. (Who Michael easily identifies because he is, of course, bald!) The other is a woman. Presumably "Mrs. Noah".

He doesn't see it that way though. Michael points out which one is Noah, and when asked who the other one is, he says, "God".

In fact today he kept saying, "This is God! God is a girl!"

Today Matthew had his first taste of Dunkin Donuts. Our Moms Club chapter was having an outing to the location that just opened nearby. I hadn't planned on going. I mean, do I really need the boys figuring out what is sold there, so every time we drive by they are yelling, "Donuts! Donuts! Mommy go buy donuts!"

But we really needed to get out of the house this morning. It's been a bit dreary lately, so we've been inside more than we like.

So Matthew ate his first donut with strawberry icing and sprinkles. Then he and the other kids ran around the store like... well... kids hyped up on donuts!
