Shopping Anyone?
Did anyone brave the masses today to do a little post-Thanksgiving shopping? I must admit, I was out. We visited Maynards first, and got most of what we wanted there. The lines were long, but not too unbearable.
Then we stopped at Target and Toys R Us, but the lines were wrapped through the entire inside of the stores, so we figured there was nothing there we needed to buy.
Finally, I went to WalMart about 10 a.m. Fortunately I picked one that is a bit more out-of-the-way, so the crowd wasn't any worse than on a regular weekday. Got the last of what I needed.
So everything is done for Christmas with the exception of two gifts. Those will be ordered soon. Yeah!

And hey, if you're out shopping, Target, WalMart, Best Buy, Circuit City, and a host of other stores have DVDs on deep discount prices. Like $3 for a desirable full-length movie. How about picking one up for my DVD collection drive? Sure would help make a child a little happier during a difficult time...
