Busy week!
This is one of those weeks where evenings seem to be spent in passing...
Monday, I went to a work-night at the Junior League shop. Once a month, a group of us goes in and does whatever needs to be done in the store. This week we were processing donations, which are especially numerous this time of year! Everyone getting in their end-of-year donations! So I was going through bags and bags of donated clothing and housewares, preparing it for sale. Of course I had loads of fun chatting with the other girls!
Tuesday, I was back to Junior League, this time for our monthly provisional meeting. This month was a special holiday dinner. What fun! The food was great, I got to mingle with lots of new friends, and we had a hilarious speaker! I really am loving this group! (As if that's not obvious!)
Wednesday, Greg had a study-night for his research methods class. So after stopping home for a very quick dinner, he was back off to school.
Finally last night, Thursday, I was again back to the Junior League. The sustainer group was putting together special holiday gift bags for cancer patients in the area. What a neat idea! They will deliver the bags full of neat little gifts and treats, and hopefully help make the holidays a little brighter. I'm all about charity in the holiday-season, so this was a must-do for me!
Do you think we could have scheduled anything more for this week?

I'm so glad folks are donating. We were at Goodwill right before Thanksgiving and the racks were still full of stuff from about a month before.
I was thinking they still had it cuz not only did no one buy it, but they had to leave it out cuz they weren't getting a lot of donations.
I have a bunch of stuff in my trunk to donate and I'm looking for a few things too. :-)
