Thanks for the Generosity!
A few weeks ago, I posted about a DVD collection drive I was conducting for the Greenville County Foster Parent Association and the Department of Social Services. I am thrilled at how much generosity was displayed through this effort!
In November, I was asked to speak at a Junior League provisional meeting, to discuss this drive, as well as other collections I have done. I also sent an email to a few friends at preschool to see if they wanted to contribute.
Well last night I closed out the drive. In total, 122 movies were donated, as well as a TV-DVD combo player, a PlayStation, and about 10 games!
I am so lucky to be surrounded by such generous people who care so much about the less fortunate in the community!
