Our First Geocache!

For Christmas, I received a nice new GPS unit. Not one of those silly navigation things (I do just fine with a map and my sense of direction, thank you.). But a basic Garmin GPS 72 to use for geocaching.

What is geocaching? First of all, go check out this site. It will tell you everything you need to know. In a nutshell, there are little boxes hidden all over the world, and coordinates posted on the website to help you find them. It's kind of like going on a treasure-hunt while you are out hiking.

So today we went in search of a cache in the park of a nearby development. Here is a picture of the boys when we made our big find!
