Jump Zone!

Yesterday evening, the South Carolina Autism Society sponsored a free outing to Jump Zone. It's one of those inflatable bounce-house and slide places that the kids just love.

Boy was it a fabulous outing! We're still kind of new to the autism community, so we're still making connections with other parents. Jump Zone was perfect, since they kids could play safely, and we moms could sit around and share stories.

Every mom needs support. But when your child has special needs, there is even more support you need. If nothing else than to share the journey.

I think it is great that we have an organization like the South Carolina Autism Society that helps facilitate this support. I am proud to be fundraising for them through Strides for Autism!

I have a fond (and very old) memory of having fun in a bounce-house. I think it was at a place called Kiddy Land Park but I'm not sure about that part...

Glad you're connecting with other moms for support. :-)
