From One Extreme To The Other

Driving in to town today, Michael was all full of chatter.

God knows how many hairs are on our heads.
God knows how many skyscrapers there are.
God knows how many flags there are.
God knows how many lightbulbs there are.
God knows how many chimneys there are.
God knows how many grasses there are.
God knows how many....

.... you get the drift.

And yet driving home from town, it was like an entirely different extreme. First I heard a little noise from the back seat. Followed by...

Excuse me.
Toots are important.
Toots are VERY important.
Toots are important because they are important.

Definitely from one extreme to the other.
