Tales From The Swimming Pool
We've been going to the pool just about every day lately. The boys love, love, love it!
Michael is now swimming (i.e., doggy paddling) by himself when he has his swimmies on. He will start real lessons in July, and at the rate he's going, will pick it up quickly.
Matthew is extremely excited that he can stand in the shallow end (3' deep) all by himself! He just walks around with his head bobbing out of the top of the pool saying, "by myself! by myself!".
And Michael just cracked us up Tuesday. We got to the pool and told everyone to take off their shirts and crocs. (Standard fare for us going to the pool!) The first thing Michael did was pull down his swim trunks! Right in front of the pool! He said he wanted to wear his "birthday suit".
So now we've been explaining that he can just wear his "birthday suit" when he takes a bath or a shower.

LOL about the strip down!! ;)
Michael, congrats on mastering the doggy paddle! You're on your way young man. :-)
Matthew, yep, you're doing it by yourself. Good for you!
Mommy aren't you glad they like the pool? So many kids are afraid to swim.
Hmmm... I guess Michael said his birthday suit is the best swimsuit of all. LOL
