Myrtle Beach Day 8, Saturday July 5
The fireworks went on and on last night. I tried moving in to the boys room... on the floor... to get away from the noise, but it didn't really work. Finally about 3 am I fell asleep on the sofa. It was a long, noisy night!
Anyway, we went back to Dino's for our last breakfast in town. Not only did the server remember the boys' names, but she also remembered their drink preferences, and brought them to the table without being asked! If you're in Myrtle Beach, definitely go to Dino's! Great food and great service.
Lots of packing, and we finally turned in our keys right at 10 am.
We decided to take a different way home, and drove down the coast to Georgetown, then headed inland. Through this route, we got to see some areas of South Carolina that are quite different from those that we are used to. It was a good reminder to see that not everyone lives at the same standard that we do.
After a long drive, we are finally home. We miss the beach, but are also glad to be back...
