Happy Birthday to Michael!

Today Michael is three! Or as he would say, "I be TREEEE!!!!!!"

We had a wonderful afternoon celebrating with a few of our friends. The kids got to run around, play on the swingset, and just have fun. We really enjoyed visiting with the grown-ups too. As Greg said when everyone left, "We've got to all get together more often!" And Michael keeps saying he wants his friends to come back to his house and play!

Michael has adjusted to South Carolina very well this past year. He loves going to church, and also playing with his new friends. He started preschool last week, and is having lots of fun. His favorite place in town still remains the zoo!

He does a great job helping out around the house. He is responsible for feeding the dog, all by himself. He sets the table every night for dinner. He helps Daddy load the dishwasher every night, and helps with taking out the trash on garbage day each week. He's a great little cleaner-upper. (I think that's Mom Mom's genes shining through!) He knows all his letters and numbers to 10. And he counts how many of anything up to 10. He even has his own little prayer he says at dinner every night (and we better not forget!). "Thank you God. Amen."
