Meet the Teacher!

This morning, we took Michael to visit his preschool for the first time. It was orientation day, or meet-the-teacher day.

Well, we certainly didn't have to drag Michael kicking and screaming in to that room! As soon as he walked in, he was off to playland! It was non-stop fun the whole time we were there. He even impressed the teachers by telling them how many lights there were in the room.

And when it was time to leave, he didn't want to go. We assured him that he would be able to come back next week, and that there would be other kids to play with then too.

Of course they also sent everyone home with those silly wrapping paper fundraising packs. I've already written about how much I hate these things. So my email went out today asking for financial contributions rather than buying wrapping paper. Anyone else out there want to support Michael's school? Just shoot me an email!

Anyway, Michael's teachers seem really wonderful, and we look forward to seeing all his new accomplishments this year!

What a relief it must be to know he had such a positive vibe from the school room. Very exciting.
