Resist the Temptation!

Some of the houses in our community have their Christmas decorations up now. No biggie. It's after Thanksgiving. But we will still wait until the First Sunday of Advent.

Michael keeps asking about our Christmas lights though. Where are our Christmas lights? Greg explained to him that the lights will go up when Advent comes.

So now Michael keeps walking around the house saying, "When Advent comes, the lights will go up!" Yeah Michael! (Greg has also been explaining the meaning of Advent, so it is not just this mysterious time when lights go up!)

And despite the fact that we have a very big birthday coming up here soon (Matthew's), Michael also knows the other big birthday coming up. When we ask him, "Whose birthday is on Christmas?", he responds, "Jesus!"

I guess I better get ready to make that birthday cake for Jesus!
