Kids Are So Cute!
On to a lighter note today...
The boys and I stopped by one of the County's Child Development Centers today. These centers have preschools, kids activities, and stuff for the parents.
We were walking around looking at some of the preschool children's artwork. There were two that stuck out.
One class was using modeling clay to make their favorite food. There were the usual pancakes, cookies, apples, and so forth. But then there was one that I found rather odd. It was labeled "turkey neck". Yuck. Whenever I roast a turkey, that thing (along with the other giblets) goes right in to the trash can. Yet some 4 year old child considers it his favorite food. Wow.
Another class had gone on a visit to a grocery store. They drew pictures about things they saw, and there were captions included. One child wrote about the pharmacy. His definition of the pharmacy? "The pharmacy is where medicines get mixed up." Okay, I know what he was getting at, but the wording just sounds so funny!
