Funniest News Of The Day
"Flatulent passenger grounds flight". Yep, that's the headline. Okay, let's be honest. We've all had those moments. On a plane, in church, in school, anywhere... Suddenly there is an unbearable smell. You wonder who did it. All you can think of is that you want to get out of there... FAST!
But a woman on a Washington, DC to Dallas American Airlines flight decided that she had the perfect solution. Light a match!
Sure, I've heard of that before. (Not due to personal necessity of course!) The smell from the match covers up the smell of the... well... flatulence!
But on an airplane?
Naturally in these days of reporting everything that seems out of place on an airplane, passengers told the flight crew that they smelled burning matches. This resulted in an emergency landing in Nashville. The woman was not arrested, but was barred from continuing on an American Airlines flight.

In the meantime, if you're flying with any kind of lower gastrointestinal distress, please remember to pack your potpourri instead of your matches. Your fellow passengers will thank you.

That story cracked me up too! By the way -- thanks for the post on the Fisher Price nativity scene. I love the idea of having a set that the little ones can play with! I ordered mine yesterday and am giving several more as gifts. I appreciate you blogging about it way back in November. Thanks!
