Bye Bye...

This morning, Mom Mom & Pop Pop got up bright and early to head back north to Maryland. It is definitely a sad day. We always hate to see them leave.

We explained to the boys last night that they would be leaving. In the middle of the night, Michael woke up crying his little eyes out. We struggled to get any words out of him. But in there we did hear, "Mom Mom & Pop Pop gone."

The boys had a blast during the visit though. I wrote a lot about it in another post. We capped off the week with fun in the sprinklers yesterday, and steaks on the grill. The weather has been positively beautiful.

Since Michael is enjoying the "Bush and Peck" song, and "Fuzzy Wuzzy" so much, Mom Mom decided to teach him "Peter Piper". Hopefully I'll get a video clip of that sometime soon.

Matthew increased his vocabulary to a grand total of about 10 words now. His latest additions are "Mom Mom" and "Pop Pop"!

So now we will have to settled for phone calls until we see them again next month. Michael is already reminding us of the exact date that we will be at their house. It is nice to have that to look forward to!
