VeggieTales Coming to Television!
Our wish is coming true! A true quality children's show coming to television!
We've loved Bob, Larry and the rest of their VeggieTales friends every since Michael was tiny. The VeggieTales DVDs are some of the few movies we allow him to watch. We just don't think most "children's programming" is particularly appropriate for children!
And now VeggieTales is branching out, bringing their great shows to television! VeggieTales creator Phil Visher will be producing the 30 minute episodes. This is especially great, since many people think that the quality of the VeggieTales shows has dropped since Phil left the company. But he's back! And we're looking forward to seeing what he will produce!
So starting on September 10th, look for VeggieTales on NBC at 10 am on Saturdays, on the i Network (formerly PAX) at 3 pm on Fridays, and in Spanish on Telemundo at 8 am on Saturdays.
Hey, maybe the boys will even learn a little Spanish through the Telemundo version! For some reason, I'm getting the image of "Dance of the Cucumber" stuck in my head.... (for you VeggieTales fans).
