Happy Anniversary to Us!

Today is our one-year anniversary of moving to South Carolina! Yep, one year ago today, we signed the papers on our house and moved in. It's been a great year!

What we've accomplished:

• Had Matthew! (I was pregnant when we moved.)
• Found a nice house in a nice neighborhood.
• Joined a wonderful church.
• Got involved with Moms Club and MOPS. (And on the boards of both.)
• Got involved in groups at church. (Elizabeth Ministry, Nursery Guild, Assimilation Team, etc.)
• Found an excellent preschool for Michael.
• Signed Matthew up for one morning of Mothers Morning Out.
• Got Michael potty-trained!
• Figured out how to get around the region without a map.
• Got started on a lot of home-improvement projects. (Roof, skylights, landscaping, swingset.)
• Became a "Minivan Mommy".
• Hosted lots of out-of-town visitors.
• And most importantly, we've met a lot of really wonderful people!

What we still need to accomplish:

• Find babysitters. (Admittedly, we are picky!)
• Continue working on landscaping.
• Visit more of the sites within a days drive of town.
• Keep getting to know these wonderful South Carolinians!

It has been a really wonderful year! Thanks to everyone who has helped along the way to make it easier!
