No More Fabrics at WalMart?
I was at WalMart today buying some fabrics for a neat project I'm starting. The woman at the fabric-cutting counter told me that WalMart is planning to get rid of the fabric and sewing departments at all its stores.
Say it ain't so! I love to sew, and WalMart is about the only affordable place left to buy fabrics. I'm sure there are a lot of people out there way less fortunate than me who would be really out of luck without the great fabric department at WalMart.

Hello Ladys,
I work in the fabric dept in an Ohio Wal-Mart. I am the Manager of the Dept and I am so mad and hurt that they are taking the fabric out of the stores. I have been fighting it tooth and nail. BUT I was told their minds are made up and within 3 years thay will all be gone but the pre-cut and maybe fat qurters and on holidays that will still have fabris to cut and fleece.
Has anyone started a patition for this or maybe hold a set-in. We need somthing BIG to get their attition. Sam started the Wal-Mart stores with the ladys in mind b/c they do most of the shopping. Since Sam died his dreem is flying out the window. Cor. Office don't know what they are doing.
I was also told that thrie will be a handful (just a few stores) that will keep their fabric b/c thry have Amish prople. NOW DON'T YOU FELL LIKE PORTESTING.....
We need to somthing realy BIG on a certen Day that will get their attion. BUT WHAT???????
Help me ladys I hat to save the fabric too but can not do it alone. We are crafty ladys and I know their is somthing we can do...
