Thanksgiving and Christmas Lights

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving at our friends Mark & Rita's! I have to say it was probably the best Thanksgiving I can remember. Wonderful friends, kids who like to play together, and no drama. It is just so relaxing to hang out with them, holiday or not!

At Thanksgiving we are especially thankful for all the amazing friends we've made here!

On the way home, we noticed a house totally decked out for Christmas. Not being ones to ever pass up a light display, we drove by.

If you're in the area, be sure to drive along DeKalb Drive in the Canebrake community one night this holiday season. You can't miss the house. They said that on Friday and Saturday nights until Christmas, they will be handing out candy canes and hot chocolate. But more important than that, they are collecting canned goods for a food bank in Greer.

So pick up a few cans of food and drive on by!
