A Rare White Alligator
Well what do you know! The one of the South Carolina zoos I was just discussing has made the national news! It seems that Riverbanks Zoo in Columbia has a rare white alligator on display! See http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,203146,00.html.
But darn it, we didn't see it when we were there on Monday! We didn't even know it was there! Considering I have a major snake phobia, we certainly wouldn't have just stumbled across it since it's in the Amphibian & Reptile House. UGH. I wish there had been a sign.
Ah well, something special to see the next time we head down to Riverbanks.
As an aside, please send some "get well vibes" this way. The boys and I all have colds, and I'll tell you, it's tough being a mommy when everyone is sick!
