Myrtle Beach Day 2, Sunday June 29
I started the morning on a quest for a children's bed rail. Of all things to forget at home! Matthew is only 2 1/2 and he certainly needs a bed rail!
Can you believe that WalMart didn't carry them? Weird! So I got the grand tour of Myrtle Beach finding the Target.
We all had a nice walk down the beach in the morning. The sand here is very nice to walk on. It's much more packed down than the sand up north. I love it! I can hang out at the beach and get little to no sand on me! Yippie!!! There are also tons of shells on the beach. Michael is enjoying finding the nice ones.
Michael and I had a nice time at the pool while Matthew napped and Greg read. I love our ocean front pool! Oh, did I mention that we are staying at an oceanfront condo? It is great!
We finished out the day at Barefoot Landing, where we had dinner at The Crabhouse, and then walked around a while. The T.I.G.E.R.S. Conservation was pretty cool. I liked seeing the big tigers and the baby tigers. Would have been awesome to get a picture with the babies, but it cost $60! A little out of our vacation budget!
Oh! I forgot to mention! As we left to go to Barefoot Landing, there was a hearse in front of our building! I don't know what happened. There were no emergency vehicles of any kind.
It took some effort, but we finally got the boys to sleep by about 9 pm.
